The town has earned the state designation as an "All Missouri Certified City" by completing the Missouri Community Assessment Program and creating a Comprehensive Master Plan. Eldon is a diverse economy supported by both the agriculture and manufacturing industries as well as retail, medical and professional services. The Chamber of Commerce unites business, industry and professional individuals to improve the city's economy and build a better community.
