New Classes For Adults

Please take a minute to view the brochure at this link. We have several new course offerings including, Cooking My Way, Coloring Club for Adults, Wooden Sign Shop class, Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Excel, just to name a few.

Maple Street Café is working with ECC to host Tea Time Etiquette. Participants will attend a real tea party with loose leaf tea, cucumber sandwiches and scones. You will enjoy yourself while learning the proper use of a napkin, how to set a table, the correct use of the knife and fork and so much more.

Auto Upkeep – Don’t let your young adult go off to college without knowing basic auto maintenance! In this one evening class, participants will learn how to change a tire, use jumper cables, check the fluids in the engine and more. You will gain so much confidence as a driver by learning basic auto care.

Judy Young has written 20+ children’s books and she is giving a presentation for adults at Eldon Career Center. The title of this presentation is, So You Wanna Be An Author? Judy will share myths and truths about the publishing process and what it takes to become a children’s author. If you have any interest in getting published you won’t want to miss this presentation.

Mustang Legacy Fund Raiser

Be a Part of the Mustang Legacy at the new Performing Arts Center
Thanks for being part of the Eldon School District and for your support. The support you, our alumni and friends, provide is helping our students, faculty and staff keep our programs as productive and progressive as ever.

We want to give you the opportunity to part of the Mustang Legacy at the new Performing Arts Center. Personalized donor pavers will be used at the main entrance similar to what we did in Mustang Memorial Park.

First Friday Coffee

Eldon Area Chamber of Commerce 1st Friday Coffee will be on Friday, March 5th, 7:15 am-8:30 am at Eldon Furniture, 25 S. Maple St. Tom Wright, Miller County Commissioner will be speaking. Everyone in the Community are invited to attend and enjoy breakfast snacks, coffee and networking with other Community members.

 
Annual Eggs & Issues Breakfast

Jesus Prom 2016

Lake Arts Variety Talent Showcase

Eldon Residential Spring Clean Up

April 4 thru 8, 2016
Location:
City of Eldon Residential Areas

All customers must be located inside the city limits and abide by the following guidelines:

CLEAN-UP GUIDELINES

All clean-up items will be picked up on the normal residential collection day
All items must be set at the curb by 5:00 a.m.
All items need to be bagged or bundled so 1 person can easily handle them.
All lumber, guttering and other items of length must be tied in bundles and cut in 4 foot lengths so 1 person can easily handle the materials.
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE of any kind.
NO LIQUID WASTE of any type such as paints, pesticides, oil, etc.
NO YARD WASTE such as brush, limbs, grass or leaves.
NO CAR PARTS such as tires, motor oil, batteries, etc.
NO WHITE GOODS (refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, washing machines or dryers)
NO CONCRETE or large solid items that could damage our equipment.

ANY ITEMS IN QUESTION WILL BE LEFT BY THE REPUBLIC SERVICES DRIVER.
