Coupon/Discount Program - NEW!

The Eldon Area Chamber of Commerce would like to add even more value to being a Chamber member by developing a Coupon/Discount Program!

This program would promote your products/services by increasing traffic and revenue to your business. A coupon card will be provided to chamber members and their employees which would refer customers to the Chamber website, where your business is featured as a Chamber member, to find out what special deals are being offered.

Homeland Realty Ribbon Cutting

Show-Me Better Health Registration

Wednesdays, beginning July 30th at 10 AM.

Lake Regional Health System is now taking registrations for the Show-Me Better Health program in Eldon.

The free program, designed to help area residents manage ongoing health issues, like diabetes, heart disease and chronic pain, lasts seven weeks. The Eldon group will meet Wednesdays, beginning at 10 a.m. July 30, at the Willow Creek Retirement Community, 106 Willow Creek Dr.

Participants meet the first week for orientation and an optional free health screening, then 2.5 hours weekly for six weeks to develop needed skills and receive support. Sessions cover topics related to living with a chronic condition, including goal setting, exercise, nutrition, communicating with health professionals, managing emotions, medications and stress reduction.

Lake Regional has continued to offer this free service for almost two years in Camden, Miller and Morgan counties.

Eldon Athletic Booster Club Needs Concessions Coordinators

The Eldon Athletic Booster Club depends on the profit from concession stands during the various athletic seasons to fund various projects and make numerous donations. As we approach the upcoming start to a new school year and sporting seasons, please consider the following:

Eldon Ministerial Alliance Family Night at Allee Field

Saturday, August 30th at 6 PM
"One Night, One Vision, One Big Family" is the theme of the event. The event will feature a free concert by The Lesters, with a message by Eldon's Nolan Scott. Free food and drinks will be served, and those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs or use the bleachers for seating.
This is a rain or shine event. In case of inclement weather, this event will take place in the Eldon High School gym.

Eldon Area Chamber 1st Friday Coffee

Dick & Elaine Wilson, owners of Wilson Music, 14 S. Maple, Eldon, will host the Eldon Area Chamber of Commerce 1st Friday Coffee on September 4th. Band Director Rex McCargar will be speaking about the Beginning Band & Middle School Band programs in Eldon. Elaine Wilson will talk about the many services and programs Wilson Music provides, including the Band instrument rental program. Everyone in the Community is invited to attend and enjoy breakfast snacks & beverages.

TIME: Registration 7:00 AM / Race Starts at 7:30 AM
This is strictly a fun fundraiser for the Eldon Chapter DAR to purchase flags to place at Veterans' graves at the Eldon City Cemetery on Memorial Day. Special awards will be given for the top male and female finishers. Brief program and awards at approximately 8:30.
